This classic, spindle style log bed has graced American homes throughout the land. This bed is as comfortable as it is charming. Like all Montana Woodworks furniture, this bed is handcrafted in the U.S.A. using solid, U.S. grown pine.
The mortise and tenon joinery system employed by our artisans has been used for millennia to join multiple components into a single, solid and strong assembly thus ensuring a truly heirloom quality piece that will last for generations to come. Two log side rails per side increase the strength and rigidity while simultaneously adding value.
This one of a kind "Glacier Country" look is achieved by removing the outer bark while leaving the inner stratum or "Cambium" layer. The "Glacier Country" items are lacquered with three coats of premium grade, clear lacquer.
